Its original place of birth is Sindh, Pakistan. The Sindhi Asils were taken from Pakistan to Thailand and Taiwan and eventually to Japan. The Shamo game fowl has an upright body structure and are used in naked heel fights in Japan. Shamo are bred all over the world these days.
